¿Quiénes somos?
Asociación Civil de ayuda humanitaria con carácter de donataria autorizada, quien desarrolló el modelo de atención integral (mai) para el tratamiento de pacientes con labio y paladar hendido y sus familias, alineado a los objetivos de desarrollo sustentable de las naciones unidas y la organización mundial de la salud para generar un mayor impacto social, el mai está diseñado para afrontar los retos de una atención multidisciplinaria de pacientes con lph primarios y secundarios en entornos de bajos recursos.
Nuestro desafío
Los pacientes con lph son susceptibles a la desnutrición, a la muerte prematura, tienen dificultades para comer y beber, hablar, ir a la escuela, trabajar e integrarse en la sociedad, suelen ser rechazados, excluidos y discriminados en todos los sentidos, por lo que al acercarlos a tratamiento integral al cual no tienen por su situación económica social se busca lograr integración social y desarrollo personal.
¿Cómo se usan los donativos?
Traslado, hospedaje y alimentación; consultas nutricionales, medicina general, odontología, ortopedia preoperatoria, anestesia y pediátricas previas; los estudios de laboratorio; procedimientos realizados en quirófano; las consultas presenciales post operatorias, las tele consultas de seguimiento, terapia del lenguaje, psicología, ortodoncia, entre otros.

About us
We are a humanitarian aid as an authorized donor, who developed the model of integrated care (mai) for the treatment of lph patients and their families, aligned with the sustainable development goals of the united nations and the world health organization to generate a greater social impact. the mai is designed to address the challenges of multidisciplinary care of primary and secondary lph patients in low-income settings.
Our challenge
Patients with lph are susceptible to malnutrition, premature death, have difficulty eating and drinking, speaking, going to school, working and integrating into society, are often rejected, excluded and discriminated against in every way, so by bringing them closer to comprehensive treatment which they do not have because of their social economic situation, we seek to achieve social integration and personal development.
How your donations are used?
Transportation, lodging and meals; nutritional consultations, general medicine, dentistry, preoperative orthopedics, anesthesia and pediatric preoperative consultations; laboratory studies; procedures performed in the operating room; post-surgery face-to-face consultations, follow-up tele-consultations, speech therapy, psychology, orthodontics, among others.

Colaborar a disminuir la acumulación de casos de lph no tratadas en México de los entre 20,000 y 50,000, MSI tiene un enfoque en la educación y la capacitación continua para el desarrollo de los profesionistas locales en todos los niveles de atención.

To implement in Mexico a sustainable model of comprehensive care for lph patients from low-income communities.
Vision
To help decrease the backlog of untreated lph cases in Mexico from between 20,000 and 50,000, MSI has a focus on education and ongoing training for the development of local professionals at all levels of care.
